National Action was founded in 2013, but became one of the country’s most famous nationalist groups in 2016 after pulling a series of stunts and demonstrations. They left stickers emblazoned with patriotic slogans littered across cities, and a 20-strong flashmob of white people doing National Socialist salutes last May ended with five actiivst being arrested. They also held an annual ‘Miss Hitler’ beauty pageant for white women.
These actions made the group famous across Britain – and they are what led to them being outlawed in December last year. It was the first nationalist group to be proscribed since World War II.
