The lady on the floor was his wife. Their daughter Lita Cross Fourie went to visit the murderers in prison after they were sentenced to try and find out why they tortured her parents. They had actually invited her to come and talk to them. When she arrived they laughed at her - and then lodged a formal charge of 'harassment' against her... The South African government says these are all 'just ordinary robberies'. They aren't even investigating these as hate-crimes which they so clearly are.

A Fifth of Murder and Rape Suspects Are Colored Immigrants in the UK

Official figures from police forces across England and Wales shows how immigrants make up a large proportion of those arrested for major crimes.

The nations whose individuals were charged the most frequently with rape in the capital were Jamaica, 19 suspects, and Nigeria, 11 suspects. Also in London, a total of 197 people were charged with murder — including 40 immigrants. A total of 91 foreign nationals were charged with murder and 406 accused of rape last year. Euro-MP Gerard Batten, UKIP’s home affairs spokesman, said: “It bears out the public perception that our open door immigration policy doesn’t just attract decent migrants but serious and dangerous criminals.”

Third of all Babies Born in Germany Came from Immigrant Families

A third of all babies born in Germany came from immigrant families.

The number of births in Germany fell to a post-war low last year despite government incentives meant to reverse a population decline in the European Union’s biggest economy, and analysts blamed a lack of sufficient child care support. "As in every year since 1972, the number of people who died was greater than the number of children born. In 2011 the difference amounted to 190,000 people and in 2010 to 181,000," the office said in a report.

Theoft controversial minister began by disparaging "White Mexicans" of Spanish decent before announcing that "Africans were in that part of the World (Mexico) maybe before (Mexicans) got there." The minister lamented that illegal Mexicans are called "aliens" and declared that Americans "tought to be praising the Mexicans because we living on land that was once theirs."

In Texas, 7 in 10 Children Under Age 1 Are Non-Whites

For the first time, as of 2012, more than half of the children under age 1 in the U.S. were non-whites.

The newest benchmark illustrating the widening age gap between mostly white, older Americans and fast-growing, younger minority populations, particularly Hispanics. In Texas, nearly 7 in 10 people under age 1 were non-whites as of July 2012, a slight increase from 2011, according to new census estimates. The data, covering the period from April 2011 to July 2012, are the first set of population estimates by race, Hispanic origin, age and sex since the decennial census.

US Election: Nearly All Non-Whites Support Obama

These results are based on an analysis of more than 15,000 Gallup Daily tracking interviews with registered voters, conducted from April 11-May 16, 2012.

The impact of age on voting intentions is driven almost entirely by differences among non-Hispanic whites. Age makes little difference in voting preferences among nonwhites, more than 70% of whom support Obama regardless of their age category.

Whites Are No Longer a Majority in the United States

After years of speculation, estimates and projections, the Census Bureau has made it official: White births are no longer a majority in the United States.

Non-Hispanic whites accounted for 49.6 percent of all births in the 12-month period that ended last July, according to Census Bureau data made public on Thursday, while minorities—including Hispanics, blacks, Asians and those of mixed race—reached 50.4 percent, representing a majority for the first time in the country’s history.

13% in U.S. Foreign-Born, Most of Them Non-White

The U.S. foreign-born population has risen to its highest level since 1920, with 13% of all those living in the nation in 2010 having been born elsewhere, a new report from the Census Bureau shows.

Forty million of those residing in the U.S. in 2010 were born in other countries, up from 31 million, or 11% of the total, a decade earlier. The foreign-born share of the population dropped between 1920 and 1970, hitting a low of 4.7% in 1970, before rising again for several decades.
But that growth has slowed in recent years as immigration has dropped, census officials said Thursday. Most of the recent increase in the foreign-born population came between 2000 and 2006, said Elizabeth M. Grieco, chief of the bureau’s foreign-born population branch.

One of Every 10 Straight Married Couples in the U.S. Is Interracial

The 2010 census noted the highest number of interracial marriages in America’s history, noting a 28 per cent jump over the past decade.

One out of every 10 married straight couples identified as different races, which shows an increase from 7 per cent in the 2000 census data. Greater social acceptance of the unions and demographic shifts throughout the country are thought to be the two largest contributing factors to the increase. The 2010 census noted the highest number of interracial marriages in America’s history, noting a 28 per cent jump over the past decade. One out of every 10 married straight couples identified as different races, which shows an increase from 7 per cent in the 2000 census data.

Interracial Homicide Rate Growing in US

Over the past 30 years, black-on-white murders rose from 6 percent of all homicides to 8 percent, according to a study of 550,000 homicide reports assembled by Scripps Howard News Service from FBI and local police reports.

White-on-black killings rose from 3 to 4 percent. All other racial combinations rose from 3 to 5 percent. “There haven’t been a lot of studies done on this. But we do have racial groups mixing together more than they used to, so it makes sense that there would be more homicides across race,” said University of Florida Law School professor Katheryn Russell-Brown, author of “The Color of Crime.”

Interracial Marriages in U.S. Reach a Record

Marriage across racial and ethnic lines has reached an all-time high in the U.S. amid fading social taboos and a more diverse society.

About 15% of all new marriages in the U.S. in 2010 were between individuals of a different race or ethnicity, more than double the share in 1980, according to a report released Thursday by the Pew Research Center. Among those married in 2010, 9% of whites, 17% of blacks, 26% of Hispanics and 28% of Asians married outside their ethnic or racial group.

Hispanics Make up Nearly Half of All Texas Births

Hispanic births accounted for nearly half of the state’s 386,096 births in 2010, according to a federal report Thursday showing the birth rate in Texas exceeding all states but Alaska and Utah.

The figures offer more evidence of the impact of Hispanic growth in Texas, which led the nation in population growth over the past decade, increasing 20.6 percent—more than twice as fast as that of the nation as a whole. Texas grew by 4.3 million since 2000 to hit the 25.1 million mark in 2010. Hispanics accounted for two-thirds of that growth.

Belgium: 25 Percent of Brussels Population Is Muslim

More than 250,000 residents out of a total population of one million in Brussels have Muslim roots, according to a study carried out by the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium and published in the Belgian media.

The study was carried out by Felice Dasetto, a sociologist and a professor at the university who is considered to be an expert in issues relating to Muslims in Belgium. Brussels the political capital of the European Union accounts for half of the total number of Muslims in Belgium.
