The issue was ENG 401: U.S. Race Theory & the Problem of Whiteness Taught by Assistant Professor Lee Bebout. ASU Associate Professor in Justice Studies, Robert Poe, who teaches similar critical theories in his classes and brought, “The Problem of Whiteness” to the greater ASU public by leading a teach-in outside of the Memorial Union on Feb. 11, backs Bebout and his course of intellectual investigation.
